Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP)

The Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) provides New York City youth between the ages of 14 and 24 with summer employment and educational experiences that capitalize on their individual strengths, develop their skills and competencies, and connect them to positive adult role models. SYEP Provides seven weeks of entry-level work experience in a variety of jobs at community-based organizations, government agencies and private sector businesses.

SYEP offers work experience, teaches valuable employment skills, and provides you with a summer income. SYEP educational activities will enhance your summer experience, allowing you to develop career awareness, understanding of personal money management, and work-related social skills.

Failure to submit required documentation as instructed will make you ineligible to participate in SYEP.
