Cross-Cultural Youth Arts Program

Summer 2018 Exposures Cross-Cultural Youth Arts Program – this is a program of The In-Sight Photography Project.  This year’s program will be held on the Pine Ridge Reservation and Cheyenne River Reservation, homes to the Lakota Tribal members, from June 30 to July 22. Program Focus

Together we will explore themes of identity, representation and ethical storytelling through photography. The curriculum combines creative learning with experiential activities, participation in community and cultural events, and trips to explore and photograph the landscape. Participants will create a collaborative final project and share their perspectives of place, community and identity.We look forward to meeting a wonderful group of creative and diverse participants this summer. Eligibility

This program is available to all interested youth, ages 17 – 21, regardless of ability to pay.

Completed applications will be reviewed beginning on March 15
