Dance Theatre of Harlem Library Internship

Dance Theatre of Harlem, an internationally renowned dance institution, is seeking interns for projects in Archives and Library Center located in Harlem at the Everett Center for the Performing Arts.

Dance Theatre of Harlem is a leading dance institution of unparalleled global acclaim, encompassing a performing Ensemble, a leading arts education center and Dancing Through Barriers®, a national and international education community outreach program, and an archive which encompasses its nearly 45 year history.

Now in its fourth decade, Dance Theatre of Harlem has grown into a multi-cultural dance institution with an extraordinary legacy of providing opportunities for creative expression and artistic excellence that continues to set standards in the performing arts. Dance Theatre of Harlem has achieved unprecedented success, bringing innovative and bold new forms of artistic expression to audiences in New York City, across the country and around the world.

DTH seeks interns to be part its Harlem Dance Works 2.0 Library Initiative, which includes digitization projects, and the development of an Integrated Media Center, which will become an integral part of the library and educational mission. Projects which may best suit individual skill sets and experience will be developed and coordinated for individual interns.

Internships require 10-15 hrs a week, and can be arranged anytime Monday through Friday from 10am-6pm.
