New York Junior Tennis League (Free Tennis Lessons)

The Community Tennis Program reaches children throughout New York City’s five boroughs by supplying trained coaches, free tennis instruction, match play, educational services, and special events to youth ages 6-18.

About The Free Community Tennis Program

Spring, Summer and Fall Community Tennis Programs develop the tennis skills of teens and stress character development and positive life experiences.

The Early Morning Winter Community Tennis Program enables players to continue their progress during the indoor season and includes NYJTL-sponsored events: Hartman Cup Championships, Holiday Tournament and the Presidents’ Week Tournament.

Special Populations Summer Community Tennis Program includes District 75 (special needs) school children in weekly adaptive tennis activities at Community Tennis Program locations.  The annual Special Populations Carnival benefits from the many Goldman Sachs Community TeamWorks (CTW) volunteers.
