NYU Free Arts Workshop
NYU Free Arts Workshop is cuurently accepting applications!
Classes are on Saturdays from 10AM – 12PM from October 22nd – December 17th.
No portfolio is required.
Classes are free and open to students with all levels of art experience, and students will have an opportunity to explore the ways in which relevant social issues can be infused into a dynamic multi-media art-making practice.

Teen Reviewers and Critics (TRaC Program)
The Teen Reviewers and Critics (TRaC) Program is a FREE after-school opportunity for teens to explore the arts in NYC. Participants spend ten weeks attending cutting-edge theater, dance and music performances; visiting artist studios, galleries, and museums; mastering NYC’s subway system; learning the art of discussion and critical writing; producing media content; and so much more!

Teen Programs give New York City high school students the opportunity to discuss art critically, think creatively, and make art with contemporary artists, educators, and their peers.
Open Studio for Teens. Select Fridays, 4–6 pm
Grab your friends and get creative! New York City teens are invited to a free, drop-in artmaking program at the Whitney on most Fridays. Bring your works-in-progress or create a special project designed by Whitney Education staff. Projects are inspired by the Whitney’s exhibitions and explore various techniques, materials, and subject matter. All supplies are provided and no previous art experience is required—everyone is welcome.

Mellon’s Professional Artist Mentorship Program is designed to give high school students the opportunity to experience firsthand what it is like to be a professional working in a visual arts discipline. Students will meet a wide range of artists from emerging to well known and be mentored by professional artists.

Summer Arts at the Putney School
The Putney School Summer Programs offer students age 14-17 the opportunity for in-depth exploration in the visual arts, performing arts, and creative writing, as well as sustainability through our Farm Program.
ESOL- Program for International Education for non-native English speakers offers English language classes and accelerated learning through language immersion. We enroll 135 students in each 3-week session.
CultureHub Art Programs
COLAB SUMMER 2017
CultureHub is thrilled to announce an exciting summer initiative for young artists ages 15-25. CoLab is a series of intensive workshops focusing on a variety of art forms and creative technologies. In 2013 modules included: Poetry, Beatmaking and Found Sounds, Motion and Animation, Urban Gaming and kinect_hacks. Each of the modules will provide a unique and fun opportunity for young artists to connect, ideate, prototype, and pilot their own projects. Under the mentorship of a diverse team of professional artists and digital media technologists, participants will learn to create and innovate in a dynamic, hands-on environment, engaging in the creative process from inception to execution.
