The DOE, in partnership with Students and Educators for Equity (SEE)

Youth Restorative Justice (YRJ), and NYU Metro Center, is hosting the second annual citywide youth summit, which will bring together youth leadership, school leaders, and community-based organizations (CBOs), to highlight the impact of disproportionality on students, and discuss ways to dismantle it. The DOE invites you, your school staff, and any youth-leadership community-based organizations (CBOs) affiliated with your school to propose a workshop or resource fair for this year’s summit. If you would like to participate, you should apply by February 9.  The youth summit, will take place at Prospect Heights Educational Campus (883 Classon Ave in Brooklyn), from 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., on June 4 (Anniversary Day). Participants will have the opportunity to learn, connect, share resources, and identify best practices to turnkey to their schools and communities.
