About Scholarship: grades (must have minimum 3.0 unweighted gpa), school / community activities, and employment. There are no essays. Must use award within 6 years. The money can be used for tuition and other educational expenses: ie on campus housing, computer, and textbooks. Seek bright, well rounded students who are passionate about both their academics and making their community a better place.

Comcast Leaders and Achievers® Scholarship Program

About Scholarship: The Comcast Leaders and Achievers® Scholarship Program is a nomination-based award, and only one student per school may be nominated by their principal or guidance counselor. Leaders and Achievers, funded through the Comcast Foundation, recognizes high school seniors from Comcast communities for their commitment to community service, academics (minimum gpa of 2.8) and demonstrated leadership. To acknowledge these accomplishments, Leaders and Achievers students are awarded one-time scholarships, with a base award of $1,000. The Presidential Scholarship Program

About Scholarship: The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program was established in 1964, by executive order of the President, to recognize and honor some of our nation’s most distinguished graduating high school seniors. In 1979, the program was extended to recognize students who demonstrate exceptional talent in the visual, creative and performing arts. In 2015, the program was again extended to recognize students who demonstrate ability and accomplishment in career and technical education fields. Each year, up to 161 students are named as Presidential Scholars, one of the nation’s highest honors for high school students.

TMCF | Department of Defense SMART Scholarship

About Scholarship: The Science, Mathematics And Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship for Service Program has been established by the Department of Defense (DoD) to support undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines. Milken Scholarship Program

About Scholarship: Milken Scholars was founded in 1989 by Lori and Michael Milken to honor exceptional young men and women based on their academic performance, community service, leadership activities and ability to overcome obstacles. By identifying these extraordinarily talented youth and then providing resources and networks to them, so they can help themselves and those around them, the program aims to support Milken Scholars during their academic and professional careers. Need active participation in community service activities, a record of leadership, financial or other obstacles, and admission to a four-year college or university prior to final selection. Must have a minimum gpa of 3.6 unweighted, minimum composite SAT I Reasoning score of 1250 with results submitted for Evidenced-Based Reading and Writing, and Math, or a minimum ACT score of 28. The submitted total SAT I and ACT scores can be the highest combination of section scores from multiple test settings.

AXA Achievement Scholarship

Deadline: The 2017 program will be accepting applications until 10,000 applications are submitted or 11:59 pm on December 15, 2016, whichever comes first.

About Scholarship: Our scholarship winners are known as AXA Achievers. They are ethnically and economically diverse, but they share these qualities: ambition and drive, determination to set and reach goals, respect for self, family and community, ability to succeed in college.

BURGER KINGSM SCHOLARS

About Scholarship: The requirements to become a BURGER KING℠ Scholar are simple. You must apply within the application period, and fit the prerequisites: have a strong academic record with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5, be passionate about serving the community, and be a high school senior, BURGER KING® employee, spouse/domestic partner or child of an employee.

Amount Awarded: Most scholarships are non-renewable awards of up to $1,000. Awards cannot exceed educational costs.
