Phipps Neighborhoods helps children, youth, and families in low-income communities rise above poverty. We work in South Bronx neighborhoods where we can address the greatest barriers to lasting success through education and career programs, and access to community resources.

We’re dedicated to our neighborhoods for the long term, supporting individuals and families as they establish self-sufficiency. Our services create opportunities for people to thrive in every aspect of their lives.

Teen Programs

Structured, enjoyable teen programs offer youth aged 13-19 access to a safe environment where they are challenged to discover hidden talents, expand their academic and social skills, and build strong characters. Activities develop leadership and life skills, cultural interests, and college/career awareness to help teens look beyond high school. A focus on service learning provides collaborative experiences that get teens involved in the community, teach awareness of the world around them, and how they can contribute to it. Teen Programs provide after school, early evening, and weekend activities.
