Gotham Girls Roller Derby is dedicated to training and developing young roller derby skaters at all skill levels and providing opportunities to play in a fun, safe environment.

The GGRD Junior Derby league is the place for any girls and young women between the ages of 8 and 17 years interested in learning the sport of roller derby and working on skating and derby skills. We welcome all skill levels, but ask that you are able to comfortably stand in your skates and make it around the track without holding on to walls or people.

The GGRD is holding three different 6-session series, at $125 per series:

Saturdays 1-3pm. Sept 8 – Oct 20, excluding Oct 13.
Advanced girls GGJRD team practice. Focus on contact drills, packwork, bout scenarios, strategy, and scrimmaging.

Tuesdays 5-7pm. Sept 11-Oct 16.
Advanced skill session, for girls who completed a basic skating / derby session and are comfortable with contact drills and basic skills.

Thursdays 5-7pm. Sept 13-Oct 18.
Basic skating and derby skills, working toward readying skaters for contact and bouting after practicing safe starts, stops, falls, and skating form.
